RAICES WARNS INCOMING ADMINISTRATION OF LEGAL CHALLENGES TO ITS PROMISED EXTREMIST IMMIGRATION POLICIES
San Antonio, TX — RAICES, the largest immigration legal services provider in Texas and a leading refugee resettlement agency, is warning the incoming administration of the devastating consequences of its promised extremist immigration policies — and is ready to challenge any presidential actions that threaten equitable access to the legal and human right to seek safety in the U.S.
“The incoming administration has promised to enact outrageous, fiscally irresponsible, and dangerous immigration policies that will rip out from underneath this nation the infrastructure that has made the U.S. an economic and political powerhouse,” says Faisal Al-Juburi, Chief External Affairs Officer of RAICES. “We hope that the anti-immigrant fear-mongering weaponized to win an election will be retired in favor of common sense rule of law. Otherwise, the American people will be the ones to suffer the devastating consequences of racially motivated politicking.”
