BEYOND THE CHART: IMMIGRATION STORIES THAT SHAPE HEALTH

Explore the diverse experiences of migrant and refugee people within the health care system and higher education. Through lived stories and community insights, Faisal Al-Juburi, chief external affairs officer for RAICES , and Pastor John Garland of San Antonio Mennonite Church, will discuss the shifting systemic forces that shape health and well-being for these populations. With facilitator Fozia Ali, MD, UT Health San Antonio family medicine, they will examine trauma, trust, and empathetic strategies that create safe spaces where healing can begin.
