Salman Cheema
Salman Cheema has spent over a decade advising businesses, families, and investors on the intricacies of immigration law. In his career spanning law-firm and in-house roles as a solo practitioner, with Erickson Immigration Group and Amazon, Salman has advised multinational enterprises on all matters of global immigration, with a particular focus on outbound migration from the U.S. and mobility strategy. He currently serves as Vice President at Newland Chase, where he leads the Global Immigration Advisory practice for the firm’s international clients.
Salman is also active in pro bono work, assisting families and individuals with asylum, humanitarian parole, and refugee resettlement.
Salman received his B.A. in Political Science from Syracuse University and J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
